【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=최근 전세사기 피해가 급증하면서 경제적 손실과 주거 불안을 겪는 주민이 늘고 있는 가운데, 수성구의회가 피해자 지원과 주거 안정 제도 마련에 나섰다.
정대현 의원은 전학익, 황혜진, 최명숙, 정경은, 차현민 의원과 함께 28일 수성구의회 제271회 임시회 행정기획위원회에서 ‘수성구 전세사기피해자 지원 및 주거안정에 관한 조례안’을 발의했다.
조례안은 수성구 전세사기 피해자를 위한 지원과 안정적인 주거 환경 조성을 목적으로 하고 있으며, 주요 내용은 ▲지원 사업 범위 ▲중복지원 제한 ▲협력체계 구축 등이다.
대구시 집계에 따르면 2025년 7월 기준 수성구 전세사기 피해 건수는 54건, 피해 금액은 약 61억 9천만 원으로, 9개 구·군 가운데 5번째로 많다. 피해자의 66.3%는 20~30대로, 사회초년생이 큰 피해를 입은 것으로 나타났다.
이번 조례안은 지난해 10월 상정됐으나 예산 문제로 심사가 보류된 바 있다. 발의안에서는 유사·중복 사업인 전세보증금 반환보증 보증료 지원, 이사비 지원 등이 삭제됐다.
정 의원은 “본 조례가 피해 주민이 평범한 일상으로 돌아가 안정된 주거 환경 속에서 생활할 수 있는 초석이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

According to Daegu City statistics, as of July 2025, there were 54 cases of jeonse fraud in Suseong District, with losses totaling approximately 6.19 billion won, ranking fifth among the nine districts and counties. 66.3% of the victims were in their 20s and 30s, indicating that those just entering society were the most affected.
This ordinance was originally proposed in October of last year, but its review was put on hold due to budgetary issues. Similar and overlapping provisions, such as support for deposit refund guarantees and moving expenses, were removed from the proposed ordinance.
Councilmember Jeong stated, "This ordinance will serve as a cornerstone for the affected residents to return to their normal lives and live in a stable residential environment."
