이번 프로모션은 교통 편의를 제공하고 지역 관광 활성화를 도모하기 위한 것으로, 최근 SRT 증편으로 철도 관광객이 증가하는 가운데 차량이 없는 방문객들의 불편을 해소할 것으로 기대된다.
이벤트 기간 동안 ‘타보소’ 앱을 통해 가입·예약한 관광객은 이용 금액의 30%를 할인받을 수 있으며, 차량당 최대 5시간까지 지원된다. 이에 따라 기본 3시간 요금 8만 원은 5만 6,000원, 5시간 요금 12만 5,000원은 8만 7,500원으로 저렴하게 이용 가능하다.
관광택시는 KTX 포항역, 포항경주공항, 시외버스터미널 등 주요 거점에서 예약 탑승할 수 있으며, 포항 주요 관광지에 밝은 기사들이 직접 안내까지 맡아 ‘운전기사 겸 관광안내사’ 역할을 수행한다. 이에 따라 교통 걱정 없이 이동하면서 현지인의 설명과 맞춤형 코스로 포항의 매력을 깊이 체험할 수 있다.
