올해로 7회째를 맞는 포스코포럼은 그룹 전 임원이 참석해 대내외 경영 환경을 진단하고 미래 성장 방향을 논의하는 자리다. 이번 포럼은 ‘대전환 시대, 무엇이 미래를 만드는가’를 주제로 22일부터 이틀간 인천 송도 글로벌R&D센터에서 열린다.
장인화 회장은 개회사에서 “기존의 성공 방식에 머물지 말고 기술을 초일류 기업 포스코의 미래를 여는 열쇠로 삼아야 한다”며 “한 발 앞서 미래를 읽고 산업 변화를 주도해 지속 가능한 성장을 이뤄가겠다”고 밝혔다.

이어지는 세션은 △新모빌리티 △AI 전환 △에너지 등 3대 메가트렌드별로 진행된다. 신모빌리티 세션에서는 소프트웨어와 항공으로 확장되는 모빌리티 혁신 사례가 소개되고, AI 전환 세션에서는 로봇 시연과 함께 제조업 패러다임 변화를 짚는다. 에너지 세션에서는 화석연료에서 전동화 중심으로 전환되는 과정과 주요 기업·국가의 대응 전략을 다룬다.
포스코그룹은 장 회장 취임 이후 ‘미래를 여는 소재, 초일류를 향한 혁신’ 비전을 선포하고, 철강 재건·이차전지소재 경쟁력 확보 등 7대 미래혁신 과제를 추진 중이다. 특히 ‘미래기술 기반 초격차 비즈니스 선도’를 핵심 전략으로 내세우며 기술 중심 경영을 강화하고 있다.
