세종시가 제13회 세종시민대상과 2025년 명예시민 수상자를 선정했다고 30일 밝혔다.
올해 시민대상 사회봉사·효행 부문은 45년간 어르신과 청소년을 위한 나눔 봉사를 이어온 우재숙(62) 씨가 수상한다. 우 씨는 밥상 공동체 활동, 친환경 경로잔치 운영 등으로 지역사회 복지 모델을 확산시킨 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
2025년 명예시민에는 세종시 한글사랑위원회 김슬옹(63) 위원장이 선정됐다. 김 위원장은 한글 글꼴 개발과 교육, 간판 정비 사업을 주도하며 세종시가 한글문화도시로 자리 잡는 데 기여한 공로를 인정받았다.
시상식은 10월 9일 호수공원 중앙광장에서 열리는 세종한글축제 개막식에서 진행된다.

Sejong City Announces Citizen Award and Honorary Citizen Recipients
Sejong City announced on the 30th that it has selected the recipients of the 13th Sejong Citizen Award and the 2025 Honorary Citizen Award.
This year's Citizen Award in the Social Service and Filial Piety categories will be awarded to Woo Jae-sook (62), who has dedicated 45 years of volunteer service to the elderly and youth.
