선린대 간호학부, ‘예비보건교사 전공역량 점핑업 특강’ 개최

【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환) 간호학부(학부장 최효진)는 지난 9월 30일 오후 4시, 믿음관 101호 강의실에서 '예비보건교사를 위한 전공역량 점핑업 특강 2'를 개최했다고 2일 밝혔다. 이번 특강은 2025년 대학혁신지원사업의 일환으로 마련됐다.

강연에는 항구초등학교 김경애 보건교사가 초빙돼 ‘선배가 알려주는 임용고시 노트’를 주제로 진행됐다. 김 교사는 보건교사 임용고시 준비 경험을 바탕으로 공부 방법과 면접 대비 전략 등 실제 사례를 공유하며 학생들의 진로 준비 역량 강화를 도왔다.

특강에 참여한 교직과정 학생들은 “선배의 생생한 조언을 직접 들을 수 있어 유익했다”, “도전할 수 있다는 자신감이 생겼다”, “보건교사 준비 과정을 자세히 알게 되어 뜻깊은 시간이었다”는 등 긍정적인 반응을 보였다.

이번 프로그램을 준비한 박민아 간호학부 교수는 “교직 이수 학생들을 위해 매년 다양한 역량 강화 프로그램을 운영하고 있다”며 “특히 임용을 앞둔 4학년뿐 아니라 준비 단계에 있는 2·3학년에게도 도움이 되도록 이번 특강을 마련했다. 앞으로도 예비 보건교사로서 필요한 역량을 기를 수 있도록 알찬 프로그램을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 56년 역사와 전통을 지닌 선린대학교 간호학부는 '5주기 교원양성기관 역량진단평가'에서 최우수 A등급을 획득했으며, 지역사회 보건 분야 인재 양성을 위해 현장 중심의 교육과 지원을 지속하고 있다.

Sunlin University (President Kwak Jin-hwan) and the Department of Nursing (Dean Choi Hyo-jin) announced on September 2nd that they held the "Jumping Up Special Lecture on Prospective Health Teachers' Major Competencies 2" on September 30th at 4:00 PM in Lecture Room 101 of the Faith Building. This special lecture was organized as part of the 2025 University Innovation Support Project.

Kim Kyung-ae, a health teacher at Hanggu Elementary School, was invited to speak on the topic of "Teaching Exam Notes from a Senior." Based on her experience preparing for the health teacher certification exam, Kim shared practical examples of study methods and interview strategies, helping students strengthen their career preparation skills.

Teaching course students who participated in the lecture expressed positive feedback, stating, "It was beneficial to hear firsthand advice from a senior," "I gained the confidence to take on the challenge," and "It was a meaningful experience to learn more about the health teacher preparation process."

Professor Park Min-ah of the Department of Nursing, who organized this program, stated, "We run various competency-building programs every year for students completing their teacher training. We designed this special lecture to be particularly helpful not only for fourth-year students preparing for employment, but also for second- and third-year students preparing for the exam. We will continue to provide this enriching program to help students develop the competencies necessary for prospective health teachers."

Meanwhile, the Department of Nursing at Sunlin University, with its 56-year history and tradition, earned the highest grade of A in the "5th Cycle Teacher Training Institution Competency Diagnosis Evaluation." The department continues to provide field-oriented education and support to cultivate talent in the community health field.
