[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 16일 오후 기장군 장안산단 내 부산경남자동차부품기술사업협동조합 회의실에서 입주기업들과 함께 ‘제1차 기업과의 혁신성장 현장 간담회’를 열고, 지역 제조업의 활력 회복과 기업 애로 해소 방안을 논의했다.
이번 간담회는 제조업 기업들과의 밀착 소통을 통해 현장의 목소리를 직접 청취하고, 산업단지 내 기업 성장의 걸림돌을 해소하기 위한 해법을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.
박형준 시장을 비롯해 신규진 부산경남자동차부품기술사업협동조합 이사장, 장안산단 입주기업 대표 등 20여 명이 참석했다.
이 자리에서는 산단 정주 여건 개선, 교통 인프라 확충, 주차난 해소, 공공폐수처리장 증설, 정보보안 체계 강화 등 기업들이 직면한 주요 현안이 집중적으로 논의됐다.
부산시는 이에 대해 주거단지 단계적 조성, 우회도로 개설 협력, 통근버스 확대, 정보보호 교육지원 등 구체적 대책을 신속히 검토해 추진할 계획이다.
시는 이번 간담회를 시작으로 부산 전역에서 릴레이 현장 간담회를 이어가며 기업의 애로를 밀착 해결하고, 제조업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 정책적 지원을 강화할 방침이다.
특히 올해 2조 원이 넘는 정책자금을 조성해 운전자금, 관세 피해기업, 기술혁신 특별자금 지원 등을 추진하고 있으며, 해외 물류비 지원 확대와 글로벌 신시장 개척 지원으로 기업의 해외 진출을 적극 돕고 있다.
또한 청년 근로자 친환경차 임차비 지원, LH 임대주택 기숙사 공급, 산업단지 맞춤형 교육·상담 등 근로환경 개선과 기업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 다양한 시책도 병행하고 있다.
박형준 시장은 “고금리·고환율, 공급망 재편 등으로 제조업 경기가 어려운 상황이지만 위기 속에서도 반드시 기회를 만들어야 한다”며 “이번 간담회가 기업과 함께 혁신성장의 길을 여는 출발점이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다. 이어 “기업과의 혁신성장을 통해 수도권 일극 체제를 넘어 부산이 남부권 거점 도시로 자리매김할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다

On October 16, the Busan Metropolitan Government (Mayor Park Heong-joon) held the first “On-site Meeting for Innovation-led Growth with Companies” at the Busan-Gyeongnam Automotive Parts Technology Business Cooperative Conference Room, located in the Jang-an Industrial Complex in Gijang-gun. The event aimed to listen directly to the voices of local manufacturers and explore practical solutions to support corporate growth.
The meeting was organized as part of the city’s effort to strengthen direct communication with manufacturing businesses, identify on-site challenges, and seek ways to remove barriers to growth.
Mayor Park Heong-joon, along with Shin Kyu-jin, Chairman of the Busan-Gyeongnam Automotive Parts Technology Business Cooperative, and around 20 representatives from companies based in the Jang-an Industrial Complex, attended the session.
Participants discussed a range of pressing issues, including improving residential conditions within the industrial complex, expanding transportation infrastructure, resolving parking shortages, expanding public wastewater treatment facilities, and enhancing information security systems.
In response, the city plans to promptly review and pursue practical measures such as phased development of housing complexes, cooperation on bypass road construction, expansion of commuter bus services, and support for cybersecurity training.
Starting with this event, Busan will hold a series of on-site “relay meetings” across the city to address corporate difficulties more closely and further boost the vitality of the local manufacturing sector.
This year alone, the city has prepared more than 2 trillion KRW in policy funds to support businesses through measures such as operational capital, assistance for companies affected by tariffs, and special funds for technological innovation. It has also expanded support for international logistics costs and new global market development to help local companies strengthen their presence abroad.
Additionally, Busan is simultaneously pursuing policies to improve the working environment and strengthen business competitiveness, including subsidies for eco-friendly vehicle rentals for young workers, the provision of LH (Korea Land and Housing Corporation) dormitory-type rental housing, and customized industrial park education and consulting programs.
Mayor Park stated, “Although the manufacturing industry faces severe challenges due to high interest rates, high exchange rates, and supply chain restructuring, we must seize opportunities even in times of crisis. This meeting will mark the starting point for innovation-led growth together with our local businesses.”
He added, “Through this partnership with companies, we will strive to transform Busan into a leading industrial hub of the southern region, breaking away from the Seoul-centered development structure.”
