인천시는 2029년까지 미세먼지(PM10) 전망배출량(6,192톤) 대비 9.8 감축, 초미세먼지(PM2.5) 전망배출량(2,134톤) 대비 7% 감축, 질소산화물(NOx) 전망배출량(46,289톤) 대비 16% 감축, 황산화물(SOx) 전망배출량(8,917톤) 대비 36.7% 감축, 휘발성유기화합물(VOCs) 전망배출량(50,905톤) 대비 3.2% 감축을 목표로 삼았다.
