충남 서산시가 석유화학 산업 위기 극복과 기업 경영 안정 지원을 위해 ‘지역산업위기대응 이차보전 지원사업’을 본격 추진한다.
이번 사업은 지역 화학물질 및 화학제품 제조업(C20) 기업, 그리고 해당 기업과 거래하는 중소·중견기업을 대상으로 한다.
서산시는 기업이 운전자금 등을 최대 10억 원까지 대출할 경우, 3%의 이자를 지원해 금융 부담을 덜어줄 계획이다.
신청은 오는 12월 11일까지 한국산업기술진흥원(KIAT) 과제관리시스템 온라인 접수로 이뤄지며, 예산 소진 시 조기 마감될 수 있다.
서산시는 지난 8월 산업위기선제대응지역으로 지정된 후 신용보증기금 특례보증, 지방투자촉진보조금, 긴급경영안정자금 등 다양한 금융 지원책을 병행 중이다.
아울러 석유화학 근로자 위한 고용위기 선제대응지역 지정을 추진하며 기업 경쟁력 강화와 고용안전 대책에도 행정력을 집중하고 있다.

Seosan City, South Chungcheong Province, is launching the "Regional Industrial Crisis Response Secondary Indemnity Support Project" to overcome the petrochemical industry crisis and support business management stability.
This project targets local chemical and chemical product manufacturers (C20) and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that do business with them.
Seosan City plans to ease the financial burden by providing a 3% interest rate subsidy for companies borrowing up to KRW 1 billion for working capital.

Since being designated as a preemptive industrial crisis response area in August, Seosan City has been implementing various financial support measures, including special guarantees from the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, local investment promotion subsidies, and emergency management stabilization funds.
