【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 수성구가 지역 내 주차난 해소를 위한 창의적인 행정으로 호평을 받아, 지난 달 30일 열린 ‘2025년 하반기 대구광역시 적극행정·시정혁신 경진대회’에서 우수상과 응원상을 동시에 수상했다.
이번 대회는 대구시와 산하 구·군, 공공기관이 우수 행정 사례를 공유하고, 적극행정과 혁신 문화 확산을 도모하기 위해 마련됐다.
산격청사 대강당에서 진행된 경진대회에는 서면 심사, 시민 온라인 투표, 전문가 및 시민 평가단 심사가 이뤄졌으며, 분야별로 최우수상, 우수상, 장려상이 선정됐다.
수성구는 ‘스마트 주차 정보 시스템’ 사업을 통해 주민 편의를 대폭 높인 점을 인정받았다. 이 시스템은 공영주차장 27곳에 사물인터넷 감지기를 설치해 주차 가능 면수를 실시간으로 모바일과 PC로 제공한다.
또, 주요 지점 전광판을 통해 운전자들이 주차 현황을 쉽게 확인할 수 있다. 아울러 CCTV 통합관제센터와 연계해 24시간 안전사고에 대응할 수 있는 체계도 구축해 좋은 평가를 받았다.
이와 함께, 수성구는 자체 캐릭터 ‘뚜비’를 활용한 응원 영상을 통해 응원상까지 품에 안으며 2관왕의 영예를 누렸다.
김대권 수성구청장은 “이번 수상은 주민 삶의 질 향상을 위해 적극적으로 행정을 펼친 결과”라며 “앞으로도 주민과 함께 지역 현안에 적극적으로 대응하며 실질적인 변화를 만들어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
