포항상공회의소·메인비즈 3개 지회, 중소기업 지식재산 경쟁력 강화 위해 간담회 개최

【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항상공회의소(회장 나주영) 경북지식재산센터는 14일 오전 11시 포항상의 2층 회의실에서 한국경영혁신중소기업협회(Main-Biz) 대구경북연합회 산하 포항·경산·경주 3개 지회 임원진과 함께 지식재산(IP) 업무협력 간담회를 열었다.

이번 간담회는 지역 중소기업의 지식재산 기반 경쟁력 제고를 목표로, 현장의 의견을 청취하고 정부의 지식재산 지원정책을 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.

경북지식재산센터는 중소기업과 창업기업, 해외 수출기업 등을 대상으로 추진 중인 다양한 지식재산 지원사업을 소개하고, 올해 수행된 지원 성과와 우수 사례를 발표했다.

3개 지회 임원진들은 “불확실한 경제 상황 속에서 안정적 기업 성장을 위해 지식재산의 중요성이 더욱 높아지고 있다”며 지식재산 기반 서비스 확대의 필요성을 강조했다. 특히 중소기업이 기술·브랜드 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해서는 지식재산 확보와 활용이 필수적이라는 데 의견을 모았다.

간담회 참석자들은 이번 논의를 계기로 지역 중소기업의 혁신 성장을 돕기 위해 지식재산 경영 확산에 공동 노력하기로 뜻을 모았다.

배상철 경북지식재산센터장은 “경북 지역 민간단체와의 IP 협력 네트워크 구축이 일회성 행사가 아니라 지속 가능한 협력 체계로 자리 잡아야 한다”며 “앞으로도 협력을 확대해 지역 기업의 지식재산 경쟁력 강화를 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

On the 14th at 11:00 AM, the Pohang Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Na Ju-young) Gyeongbuk Intellectual Property Center held a meeting on intellectual property (IP) cooperation with executives from the three branches of the Korea Management Innovation SME Association (Main-Biz) Daegu-Gyeongbuk Federation (Pohang, Gyeongsan, and Gyeongju).

The meeting aimed to enhance the IP-based competitiveness of local SMEs, gather feedback from the field, and share government IP support policies.

The Gyeongbuk Intellectual Property Center introduced various IP support projects currently underway for SMEs, startups, and overseas exporters, and presented the achievements and best practices of this year's support.

Executives from the three branches emphasized the need to expand intellectual property-based services, stating, "In this uncertain economic climate, the importance of intellectual property is increasing for stable corporate growth." They also agreed that securing and utilizing intellectual property is essential for SMEs to secure technological and brand competitiveness.

Through this discussion, the meeting participants agreed to jointly work to expand intellectual property management to support the innovative growth of local SMEs.

Bae Sang-cheol, Director of the Gyeongbuk Intellectual Property Center, stated, "The establishment of an IP cooperation network with private organizations in the Gyeongbuk region should not be a one-time event, but rather a sustainable cooperative system. We will continue to expand cooperation and actively support the strengthening of local companies' intellectual property competitiveness."
