충남 당진시는 지난 24일 송산면 무수리 소재 양돈농가에서 아프리카돼지열병(ASF)이 확진됨에 따라 방역당국 전원이 비상 대응에 돌입했다고 25일 밝혔다.
당진시에 따르면 해당 농가에서는 21일부터 24일까지 돼지 7두가 잇따라 폐사했고, 24일 농가가 신고한 의심 사례가 당일 오후 5시 30분 ASF 의사환축으로 확인됐다.
이어 25일 오전 8시 최종 확진 판정이 내려지면서, 시는 즉각 ASF 방역 비상체계를 가동했다.
당진시는 24일 오후 8시 황침현 부시장 주재로 중앙안전대책본부 긴급회의를 열고 초기 상황을 점검했으며, 방역본부 초동팀을 현장에 투입해 역학조사와 현장 통제에 나섰다.
또한 25일 오전 9시부터 48시간 동안 일시이동중지(Standstill) 명령을 발령해 사람과 차량의 이동을 전면 차단했다.
확산 차단을 위해 시는 발생 농가 및 인근 지역 돼지 1,423마리를 긴급 살처분했으며, 관련 사료공장과 도축장 등 102개소에 대해서도 소독과 이동제한 조치를 시행 중이다.
발생 지역 반경 10km는 방역대상 구역으로 지정되어 총 30개 농가, 5만 5천여 두의 돼지가 관리 대상에 포함됐다.
25일 오전에는 농업환경국장이 주재하는 두 번째 긴급 회의가 열려 초동 조치 상황을 점검하고 추가 확산 방지를 위한 대응 방향을 논의했다.
당진시는 △반경 500m 내 예방적 살처분 △관련 농가 정밀검사 △역학 농가 주 1회 임상 예찰 △도로 및 농장 집중 소독 △방역시설 점검 강화 등 후속 조치를 단계적으로 추진 중이다.
