고양특례시가 성평등가족부 주관 '가족친화 인증기관 재인증'을 획득하며 일과 가정의 양립을 지원하는 모범 지자체로서의 위상을 재확인했다.
시는 2일 이같이 밝히며, 2014년 첫 인증 이후 올해까지 5회 연속 인증을 유지하는 성과를 거뒀다고 전했다.
이번 재인증 심사에서 고양시는 100점 만점에 99.8점을 기록해 전체 평균(86.6점)을 크게 상회하는 우수한 성적을 받았다.
심사 대상은 전국 기관 및 기업 1,279개사였다.
고양시는 가족친화경영에 대한 최고경영층의 관심과 의지, 가족친화제도 실행, 직원 만족도 등 전 분야에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
이러한 성과로 지난 11월 20일에는 '2025년 가족친화 우수기관 성평등가족부 장관상'을 수상하기도 했다.
이동환 고양시장은 "직원이 일과 가정을 균형 있게 돌볼 수 있을 때 비로소 자신의 역량을 충분히 발휘할 수 있고, 이는 행정서비스 품질 향상으로 이어진다"고 말했다.
이어 "앞으로도 가족친화적인 근무환경과 유연한 조직문화를 지속적으로 확대해 직원들이 더욱 편안하게 일할 수 있도록 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.
시는 향후 일하기 좋은 직장 문화를 선도하고, 직원 역량 강화와 행정서비스 품질 제고를 위한 다양한 정책을 추진할 계획이다.
또한 가족친화 인증제도를 관내 기업 및 기관에도 전파해 고양시 전체의 경쟁력 강화에 기여한다는 방침이다.
