【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구남부교육지원청(교육장 류호)이 주최한 ‘2025 꿈꾸는 우리 세상 남부 유아 인성 동요축제’가 지난 1일부터 4일까지 성황리에 마무리됐다.
이번 축제에는 남구 지역의 공·사립 유치원 66개원, 113팀이 참여해 의미를 더했다.
올해 행사는 저출산 시대에 맞춰 ‘긍정적인 가족공동체 형성’을 주제로 열렸다. 유아들이 동요를 통해 가족의 역할과 사랑, 형제자매 간 우애를 자연스럽게 느끼고 표현할 수 있도록 프로그램이 기획된 점이 눈길을 끌었다.
축제는 동요 영상 제출, 심사 및 찾아가는 시상식, 대상팀 초청 공연 등 3단계로 진행됐다. 5명 이상의 유아들이 3분 안팎의 동요 합창 영상을 제작·제출했고, 음악 전공자와 원감 등으로 꾸려진 심사위원단이 심사를 맡았다.
심사 결과 드림유치원이 대상의 영예를 안았으며, 최우수상 4팀, 우수상 7팀, 장려상 11팀 등 총 23팀이 본상을 수상했다. 또 참가한 90개 팀에도 하모니상(참가상)이 주어졌다. 최우수상 수상 유치원에는 찾아가는 시상식이 마련돼, 유아들과 교직원은 현장에서 직접 격려와 박수를 받았다.
올해는 특히 각 유치원의 가족 행사와 연계되어 가정과 학교가 함께 참여하는 ‘함께 부르는 동요 축제’로 확장된 것이 특징이다. 남부교육지원청은 제출된 영상을 앞으로 홍보와 교육 자료로 적극 활용해, 동요 기반 인성교육이 일상 속에서 뿌리내릴 수 있도록 지원할 방침이다.
지난 4일에는 대상팀인 드림유치원 유아들이 교육지원청에서 초청 공연을 펼쳐 교육가족에게 따뜻한 가족 사랑의 메시지를 전하며 축제의 마무리를 장식했다. 오정은 교사는 “동요를 통해 아이들과 함께 가족의 소중함을 느낄 수 있어 보람이 크다”고 소감을 밝히기도 했다.
류호 교육장은 “유아들이 노래로 감정을 표현하고 가족의 사랑을 배우는 뜻깊은 시간이었다”며, “앞으로도 예술적 감수성과 인성을 함께 키울 수 있는 교육 활동을 적극 지원하겠다”고 전했다.
