【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교 교육혁신지원센터는 2025학년도 2학기 동안 운영된 ‘제25기 백호튜터링’ 프로그램이 성공적으로 마무리됐다고 15일 밝혔다.
‘백호튜터링’은 학업 성취도가 높은 학생이 튜터가 되어 팀을 자율적으로 꾸린 뒤, 후배와 동료와 함께 전공·어학·자격증·공모전 준비 등 다양한 분야를 공부하는 참여형 학습 프로그램이다.
온·오프라인을 병행해 팀별로 맞춤형 학습 전략을 운영한 결과, 학생들의 참여도와 만족도가 크게 높았다는 평가다.
올 2학기에는 사전 활동계획 심사를 통과한 50개 팀, 221명의 학생이 참가했다. 이들은 9월 22일부터 8주간 매주 1~2회, 4시간 이상 모여 기초 역량 강화, 자격증 취득, 어학 성적 향상 등 다양한 성과를 거뒀다.
센터는 지난 12일 교내 도서관 시청각실에서 수료식을 열고 우수 활동팀을 시상했다. 최우수상은 간호학과 ‘간뽀단팀’이 차지했다. 이 팀은 기본간호학 이론과 실습 역량 강화에 집중해, 팀원 전원이 중간고사와 실습 중간평가에서 우수한 성적을 거두는 성과를 냈다. 활동 결과물을 바탕으로 교내 종합작품전에 출품해 장려상도 수상했다.
간뽀단팀 튜터 이은제 학생은 “이론과 실습을 함께 준비하면서 목표를 명확히 세운 것이 큰 도움이 됐다”고 소감을 전했다. 만학도 튜티 이지영 학생도 “함께 설명하고 질문하며 공부하는 과정에서 이해도가 크게 올라가고, 학습 습관도 달라졌다”며 소감을 밝혔다.
이밖에 글로우업 등 5개 팀이 우수상, 케어해조 등 7개 팀이 장려상, T25 등 10개 팀이 성실상을 각각 받았다. 대학 측은 입상 팀에 총 1천만 원의 장학금을 지급하고, 프로그램 운영비로도 1천500만 원을 지원했다.
이경희 교육혁신지원센터장은 “학생들이 서로에게 긍정적인 자극을 주며 학습 의지를 키운 의미 있는 경험”이라며 “앞으로 프로그램을 더 고도화해 더 많은 학생에게 성장 기회를 제공하겠다”고 말했다.

This team focused on strengthening basic nursing theory and practical skills, achieving excellent results on both the midterm exam and the midterm evaluation. Based on their work, they submitted their work to the school's comprehensive exhibition and received an encouragement award.
Team tutor Lee Eun-je commented, "Preparing for both theory and practice together and setting clear goals was very helpful." Tutor Lee Ji-young, a student at the end of the program, shared her experience, saying, "The process of explaining and asking questions together significantly improved our understanding and changed our study habits."
Five teams, including Glow Up, received awards for excellence, seven teams, including Care Haejo, received awards for encouragement, and ten teams, including T25, received awards for diligence. The university awarded a total of 10 million won in scholarships to the winning teams and 15 million won in program operating expenses.
Lee Kyung-hee, director of the Education Innovation Support Center, said, “This was a meaningful experience where students gave each other positive stimulation and fostered their will to learn,” and added, “We will further enhance the program to provide more students with growth opportunities.”
