안양시, 285억 투입해 안양4동 복합시설 조성

안양시는 안양4동 주민커뮤니티시설 및 지하주차장 조성사업이 국토교통부·경기도 공모에 선정돼 80억원의 재원을 확보했다고 29일 밝혔다.

시는 국토부 주관 '2025년 하반기 도시재생 인정사업 공모'에서 60억원(국비50억·도비10억)을, 경기도 주관 '2026년 주차환경 개선지원(전환)사업'에서 20억원을 확보했다. 이에 따라 안양시는 총사업비 285억원을 투입해 안양4동 행정복지센터 2079㎡ 부지에 지상4층·지하2층 규모의 복합시설을 조성할 계획이다.

1·2층에는 행정복지센터가, 3·4층에는 주민커뮤니티 시설이, 지하에는 2개 층 규모의 공영주차장이 들어선다. 주택·상가 밀집으로 부지가 부족한 지역적 특성을 고려해 안양4동 행정복지센터와 어린이공원을 입체적으로 활용하는 방안이다. 특히 지하주차장은 중앙시장 공영주차장으로 활용한다. 시 관계자는 “안양중앙시장과 인접해 불법 주정차로 인한 교통혼잡과 중장년 고령층을 위한 주민 커뮤니티 시설 부족 등의 시민 불편을 해소할 수 있을 것”이라고 밝혔다.

최대호 안양시장은 "이번 공모 선정은 지역 주민들의 오랜 숙원을 해결할 수 있는 중요한 전환점"이라며 "앞으로도 주민 삶의 질 향상과 지역 균형발전을 위해 차질 없이 사업을 추진하겠다"고 말했다.
