센터는 지난해 신체활동, 영양, 임산부·어린이 대상 프로그램을 운영하고 주민 4천여 명이 참여하는 성과를 거두며, 지역 건강 거버넌스를 활성화했다.
2021년 6월 문을 연 덕산 건강생활지원센터는 주민으로 구성된 건강 지도자들이 직접 프로그램을 기획하고 운영하는 주민 참여형 건강센터다.
주민참여와 지역자원 협력 기반 소생활권 중심의 건강증진 특화기관으로 운영되고 있으며, 덕산읍 소생활권 주민의 건강관리를 담당하고 있다.
지난해 센터는 △순환운동 교실 106회 △에어로빅 교실 55회 △근력운동 교실 41회 △요가 교실 26회 등 활발한 신체활동 프로그램을 진행했다.
특히, 지난해 새롭게 추진한 ‘덕산 체력 100'은 진천 체력인증센터와 협업으로 진행한 사업으로, 주민 거주지 3개소를 직접 찾아가 체력 측정 서비스를 제공해 지역주민의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
또한, 초등학생 이하 자녀를 둔 부모를 위한 ‘맘맘 힐링데이' 프로그램을 신설했으며, 미술·원예 활동과 육아 공유 시간을 통해 부모의 심리적 안정과 소통의 장을 마련했다.
영양 관리 분야에서도 △건강한끼 웰빙요리교실 △쪼물꼬물 못난이 푸드테라피 등 주민 참여형 영양교육을 진행했으며, 어린이건강체험관을 통해 아동 대상 건강 체험을 확대하고 있다.
제20회 건강박람회에서는 어린이·사회복지 급식 관리 지원센터와 함께 ‘어린이 체험 건강체험관’을 운영했으며, 295명의 어린이가 참여했다.
아울러, 센터 내 스마트 헬스케어존을 운영해, 2천 600명을 대상으로 건강상담과 생활 습관 개선 지원을 이어갔으며, 덕산읍 건강협의체 회의를 분기별 개최해 지역기관과 주민조직 간 협력체계를 강화해 나갔다.
센터 관계자는 “덕산 건강생활지원센터는 지역의 요구를 반영한 생활밀착형 건강증진 기관으로, 주민이 주체가 되는 건강공동체를 만들기 위해 노력하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 자원과 협력을 통해 지역의 건강 수준 향상을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
