【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군농업기술센터는 2026년 새해를 맞아 실시한 ‘새해농업인실용교육’을 성황리에 마무리했다고 23일 밝혔다.
지역 농업인을 대상으로 한 이번 교육은 지난 5일부터 21일까지 농업기술센터 농업인문화관에서 △농산물가공/과제교육 △사과 △부추 △체리 △마늘 △벼 △고추 △친환경 △GAP 9개 과정으로 진행됐다.
그 결과 총 996명의 농업인이 교육을 수료해, 당초 계획했던 650명을 크게 웃도는 참여 실적을 기록했다.
특히 영농 현장에서 바로 활용할 수 있는 실질적인 내용 중심의 교육이 농업인들의 많은 관심을 받았다.
농산물가공 과정을 제외한 8개 교육과정에서는 본 교육에 앞서 공익직불금 교육을 병행해 운영 효율을 높였다.
또 증평군농업기술센터의 각종 시범사업 안내와 국립농산물품질관리원의 농업경영체 변경등록 안내 등이 함께 이뤄지며 농업인 편의를 강화했다.
농업기술센터는 이번 교육 결과를 바탕으로 교육 내용과 방식을 한층 고도화하고, 다양한 계층의 농업인이 참여할 수 있는 맞춤형 교육을 추진할 계획이다.
김덕태 소장은 “예상보다 많은 농업인이 참여해 새해농업인실용교육에 대한 높은 관심을 확인할 수 있었다”며 “이번 교육이 성공적인 새해 영농계획 수립과 변화하는 농업환경에 대한 대응 능력 향상에 실질적인 도움이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다. 이어 “앞으로도 현장 수요를 반영한 실용 중심 교육을 지속적으로 확대하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
