이번 평가는 전국 창업도약센터를 대상으로 ▲사업 추진 체계성 ▲사업관리 효율성 ▲사업 발전 노력 ▲사업 추진 성과 등을 종합적으로 분석해 이뤄졌으며, 대구TP는 모든 평가 항목에서 우수한 점수를 받아 최고점을 획득했다.
대구TP는 2016년부터 스포츠산업 창업 지원을 시작해 창업 아이디어 기획부터 예비·초기 창업, 재창업, 창업도약센터 사업에 이르기까지 10년 이상 스포츠산업 특화 창업지원 체계를 구축해 왔다. 단계별 맞춤형 프로그램을 통해 스포츠산업 전 주기를 아우르는 창업 생태계를 조성해 온 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.
특히 단순 교육 중심을 넘어 사업 기획에서 시장 진출까지 연계하는 전주기형 성장 지원 구조를 확립한 것이 강점으로 꼽혔다. 이러한 체계적 지원을 바탕으로 참여 기업들은 전년 대비 매출 134%, 고용 136% 증가라는 성과를 거뒀으며, 투자유치 9억 6천만 원, 지식재산권 23건을 창출하는 등 목표치를 크게 상회했다. 전체 성과 달성률은 평균 200%를 웃돌았다.
창업지원 프로그램을 통해 성장한 기업들은 국내를 넘어 글로벌 시장에서도 경쟁력을 입증하고 있다. 몽플리쎄는 매출이 14억 원에서 22억 원으로 157% 증가하며 신규 고용 5명을 창출했고, ㈜엑스빅은 매출 297% 성장과 함께 ‘CES 2025 혁신상’을 수상했다. ㈜데피니브는 문화체육관광부 지정 ‘우수체육용구 생산업체’로 선정되는 성과를 거뒀다.
강대익 대구TP AX산업본부장은 “이번 최고점 평가는 단기 성과가 아닌 지난 10년간 축적해 온 스포츠산업 특화 창업지원 노하우와 지역 기반 협력체계가 만들어낸 결과”라며 “앞으로도 AI·데이터 기반 사업화와 투자 연계 고도화, 글로벌 진출 지원을 강화해 스포츠산업 분야에서 지속 성장하는 기업을 꾸준히 배출하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 대구TP는 향후 스포츠·AI·데이터·헬스케어 등 융복합 분야로 지원 범위를 확대하고, 지역 관계기관과의 협업을 강화해 ‘스포츠산업 창업 허브’로서의 역할을 더욱 공고히 해 나갈 계획이다.
