[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 출산가정의 경제적 부담을 완화하고 건강한 양육 환경 조성을 위해 오는 2월 2일부터 ‘유축기 대여 지원 사업’을 본격적으로 시행한다고 29일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 2025년 김해시 자체 모유수유 실태조사 결과 수유 물품 지원에 대한 시민들의 높은 요구를 반영해 마련됐다.
산모의 수유 부담을 경감하고, 출산·양육 친화적인 환경을 조성하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
지원 대상은 김해시에 주소지를 둔 보건소 등록 산모(출산 6개월 이내)이다.
대상자는 1개월간 무료로 유축기 대여가 가능하며, 사용에 필요한 새 소모품 1세트(깔때기, 호스, 젖병)도 무상으로 제공받는다.
신청자가 희망할 경우 본인 부담하여 최대 3개월까지 연장이 가능하며(총 4개월 이용), 소모품을 추가로 구입할 수도 있다.
유축기 사용법 안내 및 모유수유 관련 상담도 제공하며, 산모의 편의를 위하여 택배를 통한 비대면 배달과 회수 서비스도 이뤄진다.
신청은 보건소 방문 또는 온라인(김해아이가 누리집)에서 할 수 있다.
김해시 관계자는 “유축기 대여 사업은 산모들이 초기에 겪는 수유의 어려움을 실질적으로 도와주는 정책”이라며, “앞으로도 아이 낳고 키우기 좋은 따뜻한 행복도시를 만들기 위해 다양한 모자보건 사업을 발굴해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
