사단법인 사랑의집수리(이사장 우경식, 대표 박은경)가 ‘2025 대한민국주거복지대전’에서 주거복지 향상에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 국토교통부장관 표창을 수상했다.
‘대한민국주거복지대전’은 국토교통부가 주최하는 국내 주거복지 분야 대표 행사로, 우수사례를 공유하고 서민 주거 안정에 기여한 유공자를 포상하는 자리다.
사랑의집수리는 2024년 ‘주거복지문화대상’ 종합대상 수상에 이어 두 번째 주거복지 분야 수상의 영예를 안았다. 2005년 창립 이후 20년간 축적해 온 현장 중심 활동의 성과라는 평가다.
사랑의집수리는 빈곤·소외계층 집수리, 취약시설 실내환경 개선, 긴급 집수리119 사업 등을 통해 지난 20년간 약 1,300여 가구의 주거환경을 개선해 왔다. 운둔청년, 자립노숙인, 저장강박 노인, 화재 피해 장애인, 왜소증 가족, 탈북민 등 주거 사각지대에 놓인 이웃을 지원하며 삶의 질 향상에 힘써왔다.
특히 코로나19 시기에는 실내 체류 시간이 늘어난 고령층의 열악한 주거환경 개선을 위해 ‘집수리119 사업’을 시작, 긴급성과 현장성을 갖춘 지원 모델을 구축했다. 황토방 개선사업, 실내 공기질 개선 ‘맑은숨터’ 조성사업, 빈곤가정 생활가구 지원사업 등도 지역사회와 협력해 추진하였다.
정부 보조 없이 운영되는 만큼 약 600명의 정기후원자와 전기·도배·목공·미장 등 분야별 기술인으로 구성된 전문봉사단의 재능기부가 큰 힘이 되고 있다.

지난 2월 2일 열린 표창장 수여식에서 최대호 안양시장은 “그동안 지역사회 주거복지 환경 개선에 큰 역할을 해준 사랑의집수리가 자랑스럽고 감사하다”며 “앞으로도 어려운 이웃을 위한 활동에 지속적인 관심과 노력을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
우경식 이사장과 박은경 대표는 “사랑의집수리의 비전은 ‘모든 사람이 안전하고 평화로운 집에서 행복한 삶을 누리는 세상’”이라며 “함께 고민하고 실천해 온 이사진과 전문봉사단, 그리고 협력해 준 지자체·시민·기업에 감사드린다”고 밝혔다. 이어 “지역사회 주거문화복지를 위해 지속적인 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 덧붙였다.

The 'Korea Housing Welfare Grand Prize', hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, is a leading domestic housing welfare event, sharing best practices and rewarding individuals who have contributed to housing stability for low-income people.
This is Love House Repair's second housing welfare award, following its overall grand prize at the 2024 'Housing Welfare Culture Grand Prize'. This award is recognized as a result of the field-oriented activities accumulated over the past 20 years since its founding in 2005. Over the past 20 years, Love Home Repair has improved the living conditions of approximately 1,300 households through home repairs for the poor and marginalized, indoor environmental improvements in vulnerable facilities, and the Emergency Home Repair 119 program. We have strived to improve the quality of life for those in need, including young people living in isolation, the homeless, hoarding elderly, people with disabilities affected by fires, families with dwarfism, and North Korean defectors.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched the "Home Repair 119 Project" to improve the poor living conditions of seniors who spend more time indoors, establishing a support model that combines urgency and practicality. We are also working in partnership with the local community to implement projects such as the Red Clay Room Improvement Project, the "Clean Breathing" project to improve indoor air quality, and support programs for low-income families.
Since we operate without government subsidies, we rely heavily on the talents of approximately 600 regular donors and a dedicated volunteer team comprised of professionals in various fields, including electrical, wallpapering, carpentry, and plastering. At the commendation ceremony held on February 2nd, Anyang Mayor Choi Dae-ho said, "I am proud of and grateful for the significant role Love Home Repair has played in improving the housing welfare environment in the local community.
