【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군농업기술센터가 본격적인 영농철을 앞두고 농업기계 임대사업을 본격 추진하며 농업인 영농편의 증대에 나섰다.
센터는 보유 중인 농업기계 246대에 대한 전수 정비를 마치고 장비 운용 준비를 완료했다.
특히 봄철 농번기 수요 증가에 대비해 주말과 공휴일에도 근무 인력을 편성, 탄력적인 임대 서비스를 제공할 계획이다.
또한 농업기계 임대료를 50% 감면해 농업인 경영 부담도 완화할 방침이다.
임대 대상은 증평군 내 농지를 경작하는 농업인이다.
평일은 물론 주말과 공휴일에도 임대가 가능해 농가의 작업 일정 조율에 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
아울러 오는 3월 9일부터 총 경작면적 3000평 미만 영세농을 대상으로 경운, 정지, 배토, 이앙, 벼 수확 등 주요 농작업에 대한 임작업 대행도 실시한다.
자체 장비 확보가 어려운 소규모 농가의 노동력 부담을 덜고 적기 영농을 지원하기 위한 조치다.
농업기계 임대와 임작업 대행 신청은 농업기술센터를 직접 방문하거나 전화로 접수하면 된다.
김덕태 소장은 “농번기 영농 현장에 차질이 없도록 장비 관리와 운영에 만전을 기하고 있다”며 “임대사업과 임작업 대행을 통해 지역 농업인들에게 실질적인 도움이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
