【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 보은군은 16일 산외면 문암리 198-2 일원에서 군민 생활체육 활성화와 여가 공간 확충을 위해 조성한 산외면 그라운드골프장 준공식을 개최했다.
이날 준공식에는 최재형 보은군수와 윤대성 보은군의회의장을 비롯해 그라운드골프협회 회원, 기관·단체장, 주민 등 60여 명이 참석해 시설 준공을 함께 축하했다.
산외면 그라운드골프장은 지역 그라운드골프 동호인들의 오랜 숙원사업으로, 사업비 3억 4000만 원(군비)을 투입해 조성됐다. 인조잔디 구장 3,064㎡와 골재 포장 3,294㎡를 조성하고 주차장과 사무실, 화장실 등 부대시설을 갖췄다.
군은 2024년 5월 사업부지 토지 매입과 행정절차를 완료한 뒤 같은 해 12월 착공해 약 1년여의 공사를 거쳐 시설 조성을 마무리했다.
그라운드골프는 남녀노소 누구나 쉽게 즐길 수 있는 생활체육 종목으로, 군은 이번 시설 조성을 통해 주민 건강 증진과 함께 지역 주민 간 소통과 화합의 공간으로 활용될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
