[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 경남도 농수산물 수출탑 시상식에서 수출 시책평가 ‘최우수상’을 수상하고 최고 수출농업 단지 선정과 다수의 수출탑 수상자를 배출했다고 26일 밝혔다.
진주시는 창원컨벤션센터에서 열린 제30회 경상남도 농수산물 수출탑 시상식에서 도내 18개 시군을 대상으로 한 종합평가 결과 최우수 지자체로 선정됐다고 전했다.
이번 평가는 수출 촉진 대책, 수출실적, 수출신장률, 해외시장 개척 활동 등 17개 항목을 기준으로 진행됐으며 진주시는 전 분야에서 고른 성과를 거두며 높은 평가를 받았다.
또 최고 수출농업 단지는 진주 농업회사법인 ㈜영지가 선정돼 포상 사업비 1000만원을 지원받으며 지역 농산물 수출 경쟁력을 대외적으로 인정받았다.
게다가 개인 수출탑 부문에서는 전체 수상자 54명 가운데 40명이 진주 농가로 나타나 전국 제1의 신선 농산물 수출 도시로서의 위상을 다시 한번 확인하는 계기가 됐다.
단체 부문에서는 미리내 영농조합법인이 100만불 수출탑을 수상했으며 개인 부문에서도 다양한 농가가 100만불, 30만불, 10만불 수출탑을 받으며 고른 성과를 보였다.
수출탑 개인 부문 수상자 40명에게는 내년도 포상 사업비로 각 400만원씩 총 1억6000만원이 지원될 예정이며 수출 유공자에 대한 표창도 함께 이뤄졌다.
