【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=(사)수안보온천관광협의회는 오는 4월 9일부터 12일까지 수안보 물탕공원 일원에서 ‘제42회 수안보온천제’를 개최한다고 1일 밝혔다.
올해로 제42회를 맞은 수안보온천제는 전년 대비 기간을 하루 연장해 더욱 풍성한 프로그램을 선보인다.
특히 의례적인 개막식 절차를 간소화하는 대신, 시민과 관광객이 현장에서 직접 참여하고 즐길 수 있는 공연 중심의 체류형 축제로 운영된다.
이번 축제에서는 1970~80년대 향수를 자극하는 ‘추억의 고고장’ 프로그램이 새롭게 마련된다.
참가자들은 옛 교복이나 교련복을 입고 DJ 음악에 맞춰 춤을 추며, 과거 신혼여행지로 각광받던 수안보의 낭만을 체험할 수 있다.
이와 함께 △온천 사생대회 △우륵공연단 국악공연 △꿩산채 비빔밥 나눔 △세대공감 페스티벌 등 전 연령대를 아우르는 다채로운 행사가 이어진다.
또한 전통의상 대여 체험 부스를 운영하고, 이용객에게는 5천 원 상당의 수안보 엽전을 제공해 관내 지정 업소에서 사용할 수 있도록 할 계획이다.
최내현 수안보온천관광협의회장은 “수안보 온천의 유구한 역사에 레트로 감성을 더해 모든 세대가 함께 즐길 수 있는 축제를 준비했다”며 “이번 온천제를 통해 일상의 스트레스를 해소하고 수안보만의 특별한 낭만을 만끽하시길 바란다”고 말했다.
