(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 경인교육대학교가 최근 개교 80주년을 기념하여 마련한 현대공간회 초대전 ‘공:감(共+感)’이 인천캠퍼스 지누지움 미술관에서 개막했다고 밝혔다.
경인교대에 따르면, 이번 전시는 동시대 조형예술의 흐름을 한눈에 조망할 수 있는 자리로, 대학 구성원과 지역 시민들의 발길이 이어지고 있다.
1968년 창립된 ‘현대공간회’는 한국 조형예술의 발전을 이끌어 온 역사 깊은 단체로, 매년 기획전을 통해 동시대 미술의 실험과 확장을 선보여 왔다.
이번 전시에는 21명의 회원 작가가 참가해서 조각과 설치를 비롯해 평면, 미디어 등 다양한 매체를 통해 각기 다른 작업 세계를 선보인다.
특히, 동일한 입체 조형의 범주 안에서도 작가마다 독창적인 접근 방식과 표현이 어우러지며 현대 조각의 폭넓은 스펙트럼을 보여준다.
전시 제목 ‘공:감(共+感)’은 타인과의 관계 속에서 감정이 교류되고 이해되는 유기적인 과정을 의미한다.
