김병수 울릉군수, 국비 확보 잰걸음

【브레이크뉴스 울릉】전종환 기자=김병수 군수는 5일부터 10일까지 2,135억원 규모의 국비 지원 건의 등을 위해 중앙119본부, 포항지방해수청, 해양수산부 등을 방문할 예정이라고 울릉군이 4일 밝혔다.

울릉군에 따르면, 3월 5일 중앙119본부를 방문해 태하 소방파출소 신설에 대해 논의하는 것을 시작으로, 8일에는 문화체육관광부를 방문해 ▲울릉 야외 골프 연습장 조성(50억원)에 대해 건의하고, 이어 해양수산부를 찾아 ▲현포항 방파제보강 및 동방파제 연장사업(290억원) ▲저동항(다기능 어항) 복합형 건설공사(418억원) 등 8개 사업에 대해 건의할 예정이다.

9일에는 여기동 포항지방해양수산청장과 면담을 갖고 포항지방해양수산청과 울릉군의 협조체계 등에 대해서 논의를 할 예정이다.

마지막 날인 10일에는 문화재청과 행정안전부를 방문해 ▲와달리 용굴 역사생태 탐방로 조성(30억원) ▲성인봉 원시림 탐방로 정비(70억원) ▲급경사지 붕괴위험지역 정비사업 사업지구 변경(66억원) 등 5개 사업에 대해 건의할 예정이다.

이번 방문에서 건의될 지역 현안 사업들은 총 14건이며, 총 사업비 규모는 2,272억원에 달하고 이중 국비 규모는 2,135억원이다.

김병수 울릉군수는 “재정 자립 기반이 약한 울릉군으로서는 대규모 지역 현안 사업의 원활한 추진을 위해서 국비확보가 절실한 상황”이라며 “국비 확보에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
