허경영 국가혁명당 명예대표는 18일 정오, 임진왜란 시 백성들의 힘으로 나라를 위기에서 구했던 경기도 일산시 부근의 행주산성에서 대통령 선거 출마를 선언했다.
허경영 국가혁명당 명예대표는 이날 “오로지, 국익과 나라를 위한 국가혁명당 명예 대표 허경영은, 대한민국을 세계 초일류 국가로 도약하게 할 역사적, 민족적 사명으로 제20대 대통령 선거에 출마합니다. 지금 확실하게 하나 정리해야 될 것이 있습니다”고 강조하면서 “현재 여・야의 유력한 대선후보들은, 제가 이미 30년 전부터 주장해 온 정책들을 사전양해도 없이 따라 하고 있습니다. 사람들이 즐겨 찾는 맛 집에도 원조가 있습니다. 적반하장격으로 도용한 측에서 원조에게 소송도 하지만, 결국은 진짜 원조로 판가름 납니다. 하물며, 국가 운영에 반영되는 정책을 진짜 원조에게 사전 양해도 없이 갖다 쓰는 것은 도둑 심보가 아니고 무엇이겠습니까? 하지만, 얼마든지 따라 해도 좋습니다. 저 허경영은 더 새롭고 효율적인 정책을 계속 내놓겠습니다. 또 따라하십시오. 그리고 그저 따라만 하지 말고, 정책에 대해서 서로 직접 토론도 하고, 누가 진정 국가와 민족을 위하고 국민을 위하는 길을 더 고민했는지, 국민에게 심판을 받아보는 자리도 마련해야 하지 않겠습니까? 기다리겠습니다. 언제, 어디에서든지 자리를 마련하십시오. 저 허경영은 항상 준비되어 있습니다”고 피력했다.
이어 국민의 당 안철수 대표를 향해 “이 나라에 보배이고, 기존의 낡은 정치를 타파하고 진정 약자에 편에서 약자를 대변하는 정치를 하는, 참신한 정치지도자라고 생각합니다. 기존의 낡은 정치를 혁파하고 새로운 정치를 추구하고자 앞장섰지만 비정하고 권모술수가 판치는 현실정치의 벽에 부딪쳐 한계를 절감하며 이용만 당한 게 현실이기에 참으로 안타깝게 생각합니다. 하지만 어떤 난관이 있어도 결코 중단하지도 않고 포기하지도 않고 새로운 정치를 실현하고자 하는 그 열망과 애국심을 대단히 높게 평가하고 존경해 마지 않습니다”고 설명하고 “존경하는 국민의 당 안철수 대표님께 정중하게 제안합니다. 국가혁명당과 국민의당이 정당 차원에서 서로가 추구하는 정책토론과 국민의 뜻을 묻는 국민경선을 통하여 단일화할 것을 제안합니다”고 밝혔다.
허경영 국가혁명당 명예대표는 이어 “현재 여・야에서 여론조사 1위를 달리고 있는 후보들은 입에 담기 어려울 정도로 정상적인 자격의 후보가 아닙니다. 이대로 간다면 이번 대통령 선거는 대한민국 현대정치사에서 사상 최고로 추악한 선거가 될 것이 불 보듯 뻔합니다”고 지적하며 “한 후보는 형과 형수에게 욕설, 여배우와의 관계 등등, 또 한 후보는 부인과 장모의 문제 등에서 많은 구설이 회자되고 있습니다. 지금부터도 그렇지만 선거운동 기간 내내 정책의 검증이나 경쟁은 없고 서로 추악한 과거 들추기가 나라 전체를 덮을 것입니다. 여당과 야당의 국회의원들은 대선 캠프의 하수인이 되어 오로지 그 흠만 갖고 연일 치고 받고 물어뜯을 것입니다. 나라의 격은 추악하게 떨어지고 해외 토픽으로 세계의 조롱거리가 될 것이며 그걸 지켜보는 국민들은 절망에 절망을 할 것입니다. 나라가 이래서는 안 됩니다. 정상적인 선거를 치르고 제대로 된 정당의 합리적인 후보가 대한민국의 대통령으로 선출되어야 합니다.”고 호소했다.
지금 국민들의 저변에는 ‘차라리 허경영이 낫다’ ‘허경영의 말이 맞았다’라는 말이 들불처럼 번지고 있습니다.
허경영 국가혁명당 명예대표는 이 선언의 결론 부분에서 “그동안 기존 정당은 또 하나의 병폐로 보수는 친일, 진보는 종북의 프레임으로 아무 소득 없는 싸움만 치열하게 했고 지금도 앞으로도 고쳐지지 않습니다. 허경영이 모두 척결하겠습니다. 세계 10위권의 경제 선진대국인 대한민국이 아직도 정치만은 후진성을 면치 못하고 있습니다. 국민눈높이에 맞추지도 못하고 도탄에 빠져있는 대한민국의 정치를 구하고자 국가혁명당 허경영이 제20대 대통령후보에 출마하였습니다”면서 “대한민국에 돈이 없는 것이 아니라 도둑놈이 너무 많습니다. 허경영은 작고 강한 청와대, 작지만 능력은 큰 정부를 추구하며 효율적으로 국가시스템을 확 바꾸겠습니다”고 덧붙였다.
