울진군, 보행약자층에 안전한 ‘월송정 무장애나눔길’ 개장

울진군(군수 전찬걸)은 지난 9일 평해읍 월송정일원에 조성한‘월송정 무장애나눔길’을 개장하고 탐방하는 시간을 가졌다.

이날 개장식에는 전찬걸 울진군수, 장애인단체 및 지역주민 50여명이 참여해 무장애나눔길 탐방에 동참했다.

울진군에 따르면 무장애나눔길은 보행약자층이 편리하고 안전하게 숲을 다닐 수 있도록 조성한 길로, 한국산림복지진흥원의“2021년도 녹색자금 공모사업”에 선정되어 총 사업비 4억원을 투자하여 설치했다.

나눔복지 실현을 위해 조성된‘월송정 무장애나눔길’은 길이 600m에 목재데크, 보행자매트, 황토길 등을 조성하여 월송정과 울창한 송림의 아름다운 경관을 일반인 및 보행약자층이 함께 향유할 수 있는 공간으로 꾸몄다.

전찬걸 울진군수는“산림휴양에 어려움이 있었던 보행약자층은 물론 많은 주민과 관광객들이 월송정에서 여유를 갖고, 심신을 위로 받을 수 있는 공간이 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
