어두운 밤
한 달 마다 한 번씩 떠오르는
둥글 디 둥근 보름달을
시인이 오른손으로 번쩍 따올 수 있다면?
그런 권한이 주어진다면
이 좋은 걸 누구에게 줄까?
어떤 이에게 줄까?
세상에 살면서, 보름달을 따다가 줄만한
처절하게 마음을 빼앗긴, 그런 사람을 만나보기나 했어?
그 한 사람이 그립네.
뭘 그런 상상을 해
시인이 달을 따는 초능력을 가졌다 해도
이를 어쩌지

[시 평론]문일석 시인의 시 “쓸 데 없는 상상”을 읽고

누군가의 시집을 받고, 그 시집의 평설을 쓴 필연의 관계성에 감사를 하면서 취해 차 한 잔의 온기를 스스로 누리고 있을 무렵, 문일석 시인의 한 편의 시를 카톡으로 받아들고 또 시에 취해본다. 아마도 시로써 내 더러워진 그리고 상처난 그 영혼의 부위를 치유케 하는 신의 섭리가 임함이라 여기면서 한 편의 시에 빠져본다.
어른, 다시 말하면 세상살이에 닳고 닳은 연륜의 대상임에도 불구하고 이토록 달을 향한 그리고 달의 실체를 통해 동심을 회복할 수 있다는 것은 참으로 순수 이미지가 상처 입지 않고 그대로 보존되어 있는 까닭이기도 하다. 그리고 그 달을 한가슴으로 품어 안을 수 있다는 존재로서의 시인에게 거는 순수 동심의 소유권까지 읽어 주시니 감사하지 않을 수 없다. 달은 차가울 수록 선명해지는 법이다. 요즘처럼 밤기운이 찰 때면 다들 따스한 자리를 차고들 앉거나 누워서 소일하겠지만 야경을 벗삼는 부지런한 사람들은 또 다른 감흥에 젖는 것도 사실이다. 문일석 시인의 위의 시에서 그같은 마음을 읽을 수 있어서 좋다.
달 그리고 그리움, 아직도 그리워 할 수 있다는 마음과 달을 품어 안을 수 있는 마음이 동일하게 순수한 영혼을 지닌 그 한 사람의 삶을 대변할 수 있다는 이미지를 갖고 시를 읽다가 보면, 연만한 인생살이 그 험난한 길을 걸어왔지만 여전히 따스하고, 인간을 그리워하고, 삶의 애착을 노래할 수 있음에 그 한 사람과 막걸리 한 잔 기울고 싶다는 생각이 불현듯 든다. 언젠가 기회가 된다면 이 시를 안주삼아 막걸리 한잔 할 수 있으리라 기대를 해 본다.

[Poetry Review] Reading Poet Il-seok Moon’s poem “Useless Imagination”

When I am enjoying the warmth of a cup of tea while I am grateful for the inevitability of receiving someone's collection of poems and writing a review of the collection of poems, I accept a poem by Poet Il-seok Moon through KakaoTalk and get drunk again. Perhaps as a poem, I immerse myself in a poem, thinking that God's providence to heal my dirty and wounded parts of my soul is coming.
