브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 바인그룹이 지난해 12월 30일 동대문구 아동 및 청소년을 지원하는 행사를 진행했다고 3일 밝혔다.
바인그룹은 작년 매칭그랜트 방식인 ‘해피투게더 펀드 사내 캠페인’을 진행, 임직원과 구성원들이 자발적으로 월 소득 중 일정 금액을 기부했다.
기부금은 ‘동대문종합사회복지관’을 통해, 지원이 필요한 아동 및 청소년 중 사회 진출 전 졸업을 앞둔 고등학생과 상급학교로 진학하는 초, 중학생 19명을 선정해 전달했다.
또한 물적 후원에서 그치지 않고 자존감 향상과 자기성장이 꼭 필요한 청소년들을 위해 청소년 자기성장 프로그램인 ‘위캔두’의 일부 프로그램도 지원했다.
동대문종합사회복지관 관계자는 “졸업과 상급학교 진학을 앞둔 학생들에게 물적 후원 뿐만 아니라 자기성장 프로그램까지 지원해준 바인그룹에 감사하고, 학생들에게도 매우 유익한 시간이 되었다”고 전했다.
한편, 바인그룹은 매년 지역사회의 청소년들을 돕는 기부캠페인과 후원행사를 진행하고 있으며, 작년에 이어 올해도 동대문종합사회복지관과 함께 진행했다. 또한 ‘위캔두’ 등 청소년의 자기성장을 위한 사회공헌 활동과 ‘해피투게더 봉사단’의 쌀,김장나눔 등 지역사회와 소외계층을 위한 꾸준한 상생 활동을 지속하고 있다.
