울진군은 28일 ‘설명절 상호방문 자제를 위한’ 대군민 동참 호소문을 발표한다.

27일 울진군에 따르면 최근 오미크론 변이 바이러스가 확산되고, 전국적으로 1만명대가 넘는 확진자가 발생함에 따라 이번 설연휴가 코로나19 확산 여부를 판가름하는 분기점이 될 것으로 보고 이동 자제를 당부하는 호소문을 발표하게 되었다.
호소문을 통해 △ 고향방문 자제 및 부득이할 경우 3차 접종을 마치고 방역수칙을 준수 할 것 △ 1월29일부터 2월6일까지 마을회관 및 경로당 운영 금지 △의심 증상이 있을 시 읍·면사무소 및 보건진료소에 비치된 자가진단 키트 활용 검사하기 등을 당부한다.
앞서 군은 오미크론 변이 바이러스의 전국적인 확산에 대비하고자 자가진단 키트 2만 5천개를 읍면사무소 및 보건진료소에 비치하여 검사가 필요한 주민에게 무료 배부할 수 있도록 조치하였다.
전찬걸 울진군수는 “설 명절을 맞아 밀집지역에 대한 특별방역을 실시해 코로나19 예방에 만전을 기하고 있지만 가장 큰 방역은 고향방문을 자제해 주는 것”이라며 “그리운 가족과 편안하게 만날 수 있는 날이 빨리 올 수 있도록 지금의 불편함을 감수해 주시기 부탁드린다”며 다시 한 번 군민동참을 호소했다.
