희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)가 경북 포항지역 재난피해 이웃에게 네 차례에 걸쳐 식료품, 생필품 등을 지원하는 ‘재난피해 세대 지속돌봄사업’을 시작했다고 2일 밝혔다.
지속돌봄사업은 재난으로 피해가 컸던 지역에서도 생계가 곤란한 이웃들에게 연 4회, 세대별로 80만원 상당의 식료품과 생필품, 이불 등을 제공하는 사업이다. 코로나19로 중단됐다가 2년 만에 재개됐다.
포항지역에서는 2018~2021년 태풍이나 큰비로 피해를 본 50세대를 지자체 추천으로 선정했다.

희망브리지는 지난달 30일 포항시 남구 구룡포읍과 북구 죽장면에서 1차로 ▲프레스햄 통조림 ▲참치 통조림 ▲식용유 ▲양조간장 ▲식초 ▲홍삼 ▲즉석밥 ▲유산균 등 식품 키트 50개를 각 세대에 전했다. 6월과 8월, 10월에도 계절별로 필요한 물품을 포함해 생필품과 이불 등을 전달할 계획이다.
희망브리지 김정희 사무총장은 “몇 해가 지나도 재난 전 일상을 회복하지 못한 분들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바라는 마음으로 이번 사업을 재개했다”며 “희망브리지는 이재민들이 일상으로 돌아가는 날까지 계속해서 도움 드릴 수 있도록 항상 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
