설동호 대전교육감 후보가 주요정책 발표에 나섰다.
설동호 캠프는 23일 "대형 이슈에 밀려서 주목받지 못하고 있는 교육감 선거에 대한 유권자들의 관심과 이해를 돕기 위해 5대 교육정책방향의 핵심과제와 세부과제의 이행방법, 재원조달방법 등을 논의하고 다섯 차례에 걸쳐 구체적으로 밝힐 예정"이라고 밝혔다.
이날 발표된 첫 번째 주요정책은 미래를 선도하는 창의융합교육 완성이다.
먼저 설 후보는 학생들의 창의성을 키우는 융합교육으로 대전 기관연계 AI융합 체험교육과정을 운영하고, 대전형 그린스마트 미래학교 조성을 위한 학교 안 생태전환교육 체험장 구축을 공약했다.
또, 문·예·체 체험중심의 인성교육으로 교육정보를 집적하고 활용할 수 있는 대전교육 디지털 플랫폼을 조성하고, 문화예술체육 교육활동을 지원하기 위한 학교 내 개방형 복합문화예술공간 설치를 약속했다.
임기 초반 정책 과제 이행을 위한 T/F팀을 운영해 정책연구 및 포럼을 개최하고, 과업 이행 중간 점검 및 평가, 문제점 개선을 통해 임기 말 과업 완수 및 성과를 수립한다는 방안이다.
이행방법은 자체 예산과 지역 유관기관의 협력지원, 교부금과 지방교육비 확대 등을 통한 지속가능한 교육예산을 확보할 계획이다.
