충남도의회는 제12대 전반기 의회 6개 상임위원회의 위원장을 선출했다.
도의회는 4일 제338회 임시회 2차 본회의를 열고 기획경제위원회, 행정문화위원회, 복지환경위원회, 농수산해양위원회, 안전건설소방위원회, 교육위원회 등 6개 상임위원회의 위원장 선거를 마쳤으며, 국민의힘 소속 4명의 의원과 더불어민주당 소속 2명의 의원이 상임위원장으로 선출됐다.
기획경제위원장에는 김명숙 의원(청양, 더불어민주당)이, 행정문화위원장은 김옥수 의원(서산1, 국민의힘)이 각각 46표, 45표를 받아 당선됐다.
복지환경위원장은 44표를 받은 김응규 의원(아산2, 국민의힘)이, 농수산해양위원장은 45표를 받은 정광섭 의원(태안2, 국민의힘)이 선출됐다.
안전건설소방위원회는 김기서 의원(부여1, 더불어민주당)이, 교육위원회는 편삼범 의원(보령2, 국민의힘)이 각각 45표, 30표를 받아 위원장에 올랐다.
당선된 상임위원장들은 도민복지 증진과 지역경제 활성화를 위한 활발한 의정 활동과 도정 발전을 위한 감시자 역할에 충실할 것을 다짐했다.
한편 의회는 5일 3차 본회의를 열고 의회운영위원회 위원장과 예산결산특별위원회 위원장, 윤리특별위원회 위원장을 선출할 예정이다.
