사천강 산책로 ‘생태힐링길’ 꽃 물결 가득

[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 명품 ‘생태힐링길’로 널리 알려진 사천강 산책로에 황화코스모스와 백일홍이 만개해 사천시민들에게 큰 인기를 끌고 있다.

이 산책로에는 사천시 정동면주민자치위원회(위원장 박만규)가 사천강변(수청교~죽담교~고읍 소교량) 1.5km 구간에 파종한 황화코스모스와 백일홍이 꽃망울을 터뜨린 것이다.

정동면주민자치위원회는 지난 3월 자치마을 만들기 사업의 일환으로 ‘꽃길조성사업’을 진행한 가운데 주민자치위원들의 역량 강화와 활성화를 도모하기 위해 매년 추진하고 있다.

특히, 올해는 청단풍·홍단풍 70주를 식재한 것은 물론 쉼터정자, 의자 등 편의시설까지 추가로 설치, 사천시민과 방문객들로부터 좋은 반응을 얻고 있다.

현재 사천강은 황화코스모스와 백일홍이 활짝 핀 가운데 바람개비가 어우러져 최고의 인생샷을 찍을 수 있는 핫플레이스로 떠오르고 있다.

또한, 사천강 산책로를 이용하는 시민과 자전거 매니아에게는 새로운 볼거리 제공과 함께 코로나19로 지친 마음에 위로를 주고 있다.
