[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시가 관광자원개발을 위한 구상에 나서 해안선과 접목된 관광자원 입지여건과 인프라 구축 필요성을 강조했다.

홍남표 시장은 12일 동북아 중심도시 창원의 관광자원개발 구상을 위해 최형두 국회의원, 해양관련 전문가와 함께 어업지도선을 타고 해상 순시를 실시했다.

이날 해상 순시는 진해신항, 부산신항, 명동마리나, 진해항 등을 차례로 방문해 대형사업장과 천혜의 자원인 바다가 연결되는 코스의 관광자원개발 구상을 위해 현장을 찾아 논의하는 자리가 됐다.

홍 시장은 “향후 해안을 이용한 경제구역이 확대되고 있는 추세에 맞춰 관광자원 개발의 인프라도 동시에 구축되는 것이 필요하다고 판단해, 관광자원의 입지여건과 적지를 선정하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다”고 밝혔다.
