세종시(시장 최민호)가 LH세종특별본부(본부장 이대영)와 손을 잡고 ‘세종시 종합주거복지센터’를 설치, 가구별 복합적인 주거문제를 원스톱으로 해결하는 주거복지 통합서비스 제공에 나선다고 밝혔다.
이를위해 세종시는 31일 시청 접견실에서 최민호 시장과 이대영 LH 세종특별본부장이 참석한 가운데 ‘세종시 종합주거복지센터 설치’ 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약에 따라 두 기관은 주거복지 전달체계 강화 및 주거·사회 통합 복지서비스 향상을 위한 협업 체계로써 ‘세종시 종합주거복지센터’를 설치하고 시민을 대상으로 주거복지사업을 펼친다.
시는 주거복지사업을 총괄하고 사업 추진에 필요한 행·재정적 지원을 하며, LH는 세종시 종합주거복지센터 설립 및 운영과 관련해 LH 가온마을 7단지 임대상가(희망상가) 공간 임대를 지원한다.
종합주거복지센터는 수급자 등 주거 취약계층의 복합적인 주거문제와 제도권 외 사각지대 발생 등으로 수요자 맞춤형 주거복지를 제공하는데 어려움을 겪던 것을 해소하기 위한 대안이다.
이곳에서는 국토교통부의 주거복지 로드맵에 따라 LH 세종권주거복지지사(마이홈센터)와 협력해 시민들에게 주거복지 원스톱 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
