[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 경증 치매환자 50명을 선정해 인공지능(AI) 돌봄로봇인 ‘하모’를 활용한 비대면 돌봄 서비스를 강화하기 위해 오는 6일까지 대상자 신청을 받는다.
돌봄로봇 하모는 노인 돌봄 공백을 최소화하고 인지 저하 증상이 악화되는 것을 방지하는 인공지능 시스템과 진주시의 상징인 하모 캐릭터의 친근한 이미지를 결합해 제작됐다.
주요 기능으로 개인일정 알람 및 복약지도 등 건강생활 관리, 로봇과의 상호 교감 대화 및 정서 안정 관리, 콘텐츠 프로그램 제공, 관제시스템을 통한 안위 원격 확인 기능 등이 탑재됐다.
서비스 지원 대상자는 진주시에 주소를 두고, 치매안심센터에 등록된 경증 치매환자 중 만 75~79세 독거노인으로 시는 소득 등의 별도 우선순위 기준을 고려해 50명의 대상자를 선정할 예정이다.
진주시 관계자는 “돌봄 공백에 처한 치매 노인들이 하모 돌봄로봇으로 가정에서 손쉽게 인지자극 활동으로 치매 악화를 방지하고 비대면 돌봄 서비스의 도움도 받을 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
