충남도, ‘재해위험지역 정비’ 국비 540억 확보

충남도가 2023년 행정안전부 소관 재해위험지역 정비사업과 관련해 올해 국비 488억 원 대비 10.4% 증액된 540억 원을 확보했다고 18일 밝혔다.

재해위험지역 정비사업은 여름철 태풍·호우 등 반복적인 침수 피해가 예상되는 지역이나 급경사지, 저수지 등 붕괴위험이 있는 지역을 정비해 자연재해로부터 도민의 생명과 재산 피해를 최소화하고자 추진한다.

이번에 확보한 국비 540억 원은 분야별로 △풍수해 생활권 종합 정비사업 6지구(108억 원) △재해 위험 개선 지구 38지구(384억 원) △급경사지 붕괴 위험 지역 7지구(18억 원) △재해 위험 저수지 9지구(30억 원)에 투입한다.

충남도는 국비 확보 및 사업 규모 확대 지속을 위해 내년 자연재해 위험 개선 지구 신규 사업 신청 10개 지구 가운데 8개 지구의 예산을 반영했으며, 풍수해 생활권 종합 정비사업 공모에 천안 원성천이 최종 선정될 수 있도록 행안부와 기재부를 지속 방문하는 등 행정적인 노력을 기울여 왔다.
