파주시는 지난 21일 청년공간GP1934에서 ‘2022년 파주시 청년정책협의체 정책제안회’를 열었다.
이날 제안회는 정책제안 기조발언, 상반기 활동 영상 시청, 김경일 파주시장과 청년들의 소통 순으로 진행됐으며, 이용빈 위원장이 사회를 맡았다.

이번 행사는 파주 청년이 직접 발굴한 청년정책을 파주시의 정식 사업으로 제안하는 장으로, 파주시 청년정책협의체가 제출한 정책제안서를 시와 함께 공유했다.
이날 제안된 정책은 ▲청년정책 모니터링단 ▲길거리 문화존 조성 ▲파주시 청년특허사관학교 ▲파주시 청년건강 바우처 도입 총 4개 정책이다.
시는 제시된 정책안에 대해 관련 부서에서 실현 가능성, 시급성 등을 추가 검토해 향후 파주시 청년정책에 참고·반영할 계획이다.

김경일 파주시장은 “올해 발족한 청년정책협의체가 처음으로 정책 의사결정 과정에 참여해 큰 의미가 있다고 생각한다”며 “앞으로도 청년과 소통하는 행정, 청년 맞춤형 정책을 실현해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
제1기 파주시 청년정책협의체는 청년들이 파주시에 정책을 제안하는 참여기구로, 만 19세~34세 청년 29명이 지난 1월 발대식을 시작으로 ▲소통·참여 ▲일자리 ▲복지·문화 3개분과 모임을 통해 총 14건의 정책과제를 발굴했고, 소관부서 검토·파주 청년정책 투표 등을 거쳐 4건의 최종 제안정책을 선정했다.[파주=박정호기자]
