파주시는 오는 15일 ‘아이와 함께 편지쓰기’라는 주제로 편지와 관련된 책을 읽고 아이와 부모가 서로에게 하고 싶은 말을 편지를 써서 실링왁스와 스탬프, 그림, 사진 등으로 편지를 꾸미는 내용을 담아 중앙도서관 5층 스토리&에서 행사를 진행한다.
또한, 편지와 관련된 ‘우리가 편지를 쓰는 이유’를 주제로 한 컬렉션도 진행하고 있으며 부모님과 자녀의 편지를 담은 책들과 역사 인물들의 편지와 쓰는 법을 담은 자료 등이 다양하게 전시돼 있다.

권예자 관장은 “디지털에 익숙한 아이들이 직접 손편지를 작성해보는 시간을 통해 글쓰기의 즐거움을 알고, 가족 간의 소통을 강화할 수 있는 시간이 될 것”이라고 말했다.
