[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시가 12일 행정안전부의 하반기 특별교부세로 4개 사업 총 31억원을 확보해 지역현안 사업 추진에 탄력을 받게 됐다.
진주시의 이번 확보내역을 보면 진주공설운동장 보조경기장 야구장 시설개선 9억원, 명석 나불마을 도로 정비사업 9억원, 대곡 송곡마을 굴곡도로 개선사업 9억원 및 금산면 중장로 보도정비공사 4억원이다.
시는 이번 특별교부세 확보로 시민들이 안전하고 편안한 스포츠를 즐길 수 있는 여건을 마련하고, 사고위험이 높은 도로를 정비하는 등 주민편의 증진에 최선을 다 한다는 방침이다.
조규일 진주시장은 “지역에 꼭 필요한 사업에 대해 행정안전부를 찾아 적극적으로 노력한 끝에 30여억원의 사업비를 확보하게 됐다”며 “시민의 안전과 편의를 위해 지속적으로 노력 하겠다”고 말했다.
