군포문화예술회관, 11월 4~5일 뮤지컬 ‘백만송이의 사랑’ 공연

군포문화재단이 11월 4일과 5일 총 3회에 걸쳐 군포문화예술회관 수리홀에서 뮤지컬 ‘백만송이의 사랑’을 공연한다.

‘백만송이의 사랑’은 지난해 군포문화재단과 하남문화재단, 의정부문화재단 등 3개 문화예술기관과 극공작소 마방진이 공동으로 제작한 작품이다.

‘백만송이의 사랑’은 군포, 하남, 의정부에서 진행된 지난해 초연에서 관객들의 뜨거운 반응을 얻었다. ‘백만송이의 사랑’은 누구나 한번쯤 겪어보았을 사랑과 아픔을 지난 100년간의 한국 대중가요로 펼쳐내는 주크박스뮤지컬로 독립운동가와 기생, 전쟁이 갈라놓은 새색시와 새신랑, 학생운동 출신의 청춘들, 2002 월드컵으로 하나 되는 사람들까지 다양한 주제의 사랑 이야기들이 관객들을 사로잡는다.

1막에서는 ‘빈대떡 신사’, ‘낭랑 18세’, ‘빨간 구두 아가씨’, ‘님과 함께’ 등 1930~70년대 명곡들을 만나볼 수 있고, 2막에는 ‘아파트’를 시작으로 ‘어젯밤 이야기’, ‘취중진담’, ‘너의 의미’ 등 1980년대 이후 히트곡들이 총망라돼 있다.

올해 ‘백만송이의 사랑’ 공연은 예술경영지원센터의 전국 공연예술 창?제작?유통 협력사업의 지원을 받아 군포, 하남문화재단 등 최초 제작 참여 기관과 함께 경기아트센터, 국립박물관문화재단, 음성문화예술회관 등에서도 공연이 열린다.

군포문화재단의 한 관계자는 “새로운 문화예술 공연프로그램 제작을 위해 꾸준히 노력해 제작한 작품을 다시 군포시민들에게 선보일 수 있어 기쁘다”며 “옛 사랑의 추억을 되살려 볼 수 있는 이번 공연에 시민들의 많은 관심을 바란다”고 말했다.

'A Million Love' is a work jointly produced by the Gunpo Cultural Foundation, Hanam Cultural Foundation, Uijeongbu Cultural Foundation, and three cultural and artistic institutions last year, and Ma Bangjin, a theater production company.
