브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 기아는 2일 보도자료를 통해 청소년 대상 미래 진로 탐색과 상담 기회를 제공하는 청소년 진로 상담 프로그램 ‘진로쌤’을 선보인다고 밝혔다.
사단법인 드림커넥트가 주관하고 기아가 후원하는 ‘진로쌤’은 기아 청소년 진로 교육 사회 공헌 활동 ‘기아 인스파이어링 클래스(Kia Inspiring Class)’의 4번째 프로그램이다.
기아 인스파이어링 클래스는 진로 체험 기회와 정보가 부족한 청소년들에게 다양한 직업군에 대한 이해를 돕고 진로 탐색의 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련된 프로그램이다. 기아는 올해 ‘진로 콘서트’, ‘미래테크 진로 교육’, ‘판교테크노밸리 진로 투어’ 등 다양한 진로 교육 콘텐츠를 진행했다.
이번에 선보이는 ‘진로쌤’은 카카오톡 플랫폼을 활용한 상담 프로그램으로 학생들에게 카카오톡 진로쌤 채널을 통해 전국 진로 진학상담교사연합회의 교사들과 진로와 관련된 1:1 전화 및 문자 상담을 제공해 준다.
또한, 교육부 커리어넷과 정보를 연동해 진학정보, 대입전형, 대외활동, 미래직업, 진로 및 학습 고민 등 진로와 관련된 다양한 정보를 챗봇으로 실시간 확인할 수 있도록 했다.
더불어 기아는 오는 12월 매주 수요일마다 기아 임직원이 비대면으로 직접 참여하는 특별 진로 상담을 실시할 예정이다. 청소년들은 임직원과의 상담 시간을 통해 평소에 들을 수 없던 현직 직장인들의 생생한 이야기를 들을 수 있을 것으로 보고 있다.
기아는 사회적 문제인 교육 기회의 불평등을 해소하기 위해 지방 및 도서산간 지역 학생들도 시공간의 제약 없이 원하는 경우 언제 어디서든 진로 상담 교육을 받을 수 있도록 모바일 기반의 참여가 가능한 진로쌤을 기획하게 됐다.
진로쌤을 이용하고자 하는 청소년들은 카카오톡에서 ‘드림커넥트 진로쌤’을 검색한 후 채널을 추가하면 진로 교육과 관련된 다양한 콘텐츠를 만나볼 수 있다.
기아 관계자는 “진로 탐색에 어려움을 겪고 있는 청소년들이 더 나은 미래를 꿈꾸는 데 도움이 되고자 이번 프로그램을 마련했다”며 “앞으로도 기아는 청소년들을 위해 다양한 지원 활동을 이어 나갈 것이다”고 전했다.
