고양시는 지난 30일 한국프레스센터에서 열린‘2022 대한민국커뮤니케이션대상’시상식에서 ‘최우수상’을 수상하며 전국 지자체 최초로 대한민국커뮤니케이션대상을 10년 연속 수상하는 쾌거를 이뤘다.
올해로 32회째를 맞이한 대한민국커뮤니케이션대상은 (사)한국사보협회주관으로 매년 국가기관, 공·사기업, 단체가 발행하는 커뮤니케이션 제작물 중 우수작을 선정하는 국내 최고 권위의 상이다.

시는 올해 책자형 매거진 「고양소식」뿐 아니라 디지털 매거진 「고양원픽」을 함께 출품하여 심사위원들의 호평을 받았으며. 홍보·출판 부문 최우수상을 수상했다.
지난 6월 오픈한 「고양원픽」은 시정소식을 감각적 디자인의 웹매거진 형태로 제공하는 한편 ▲고양TV ▲SNS ▲소셜기자단 등의 콘텐츠를 함께 수록하여 매월 1만 명 이상이 찾아오는 등 고양시 종합 홍보사이트로 자리매김하고 있다.
이동환 고양시장은 “취임 이후 시민과의 소통에 많은 관심을 기울였다. 그동안 온·오프라인을 아우르며 시민과의 양방향 소통을 위해 노력한 혁신의 결과다”라며, “앞으로도 시민만을 바라보며 양질의 콘텐츠를 지속적으로 발굴하여 만족도를 높여 나가겠다”고 수상소감을 밝혔다.
