브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 국민연금공단은 전국 지사 직원 166명을 대상으로 올 11월 14일부터 12월 5일까지 8회에 걸쳐 ‘디지털 실무’ 교육을 메타버스에서 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 직원들의 디지털 역량을 강화하고, 가상세계 체험을 통해 메타버스에 대한 견문을 넓히기 위한 목적으로 실시됐다.
교육과정은 △국민연금 차세대 정보시스템 소개 △NPS 메타버스 오피스 활용 가이드 △Edge 활용 및 Windows 10 버전 업그레이드 △웹팩스 및 전자증명서 활용 방법 등 4가지로 구성됐다.
특히, 이번 교육은 지난 달 공단 본부(전북 전주시)에 오픈한 ‘NPS 메타버스 스튜디오’에서 진행했다. NPS 메타버스 스튜디오는 실시간으로 영상 촬영과 메타버스로의 송출이 동시에 가능한 작업 공간이다.
공단은 앞으로 NPS 메타버스 스튜디오를 전국 각지에 있는 임직원의 교육·회의 등에 적극적으로 활용해 메타버스 서비스를 통한 비대면 업무 활성화를 추진할 계획이다.
김청태 디지털혁신본부장은 “공단은 지난해부터 업무협약식, 정보보안 도전 골든벨 등 다양한 분야에 메타버스를 활용하고 있다”며 “이번 교육을 통해 메타버스 서비스에 대한 임직원의 관심과 참여가 더욱 높아지길 바란다”고 말했다.
