[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시 여성회관마산관 자원봉사연합회는 지난 16일 여성회관마산관에서 『2022년 여성회관마산관 자원봉사연합회 활동보고회』를 열고, 올 한 해 봉사활동 성과보고 및 우수봉사자 시상식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사에는 코로나19로 어려운 여건 속에서도 지역사회 발전을 위해 헌신한 우수봉사자 2명에게 표창패를 수여하며, 그동안의 노고에 대해 격려하고 올해 봉사활동 성과에 대해서도 보고하는 시간을 가졌다. 창원시 여성회관마산관 자원봉사연합회는 여성회관마산관에서 교육을 수료한 수강생들이 자발적으로 모여 1993년 10개 단위 자원봉사단체로 구성돼 28년간 사회복지시설 미용봉사, 발마사지 봉사, 무료급식소 봉사 등을 이어온 단체다.
최근 시설 봉사 등이 제한되는 상황에서도 마산합포구 노인복지관 배식봉사, 국화꽃 축제 질서유지, 폐식용유 재활용 비누 만들기, 김장나눔행사 등으로 다양하게 활동을 펼치며 이웃사랑을 실천하고 있다.
