안양시가 약 360억원을 투입, 시민들의 건강과 미래 세대의 생존을 위한 ‘대기환경 질 개선 사업’에 적극 나섰다.
안양시는 지난 12월 23일 내년도 친환경자동차 구입 지원 및 운행경유차 등의 배출가스 저감 사업을 확대 시행하기 위해 119억3,609만원을 증액해 약 360억원을 투입한다고 밝혔다.
안양시는 전기차·이륜차 등 친환경자동차 구입 지원에 327억2,500만원, 운행경유차 배출가스 저감 지원 등에 32억4,460만원을 편성했다.
친환경차 구입 지원 규모는 전기차(승용차·화물·버스) 1,758대, 수소전기차 90대, 전기이륜차 100대 등 총 1,948대로, 올해 지원 대수보다 458대 늘릴 계획이다.
안양시민이나 관내 기업, 운수업체 등이 전기자동차 구입시 최대 승용차 850만원, 화물차 2,000만원, 버스 1억1,200만원, 수소전기차는 3,250만원까지 지원받을 수 있으며, 차종 등에 따라 다를 수 있다.

이와 함께 자동차 배출가스 대기오염 저감 및 온실가스 감축을 위해 노후 경유차 조기폐차 지원도 확대 시행, 기존 대상인 배출가스 5등급 경유차·도로용 3종 건설기계(덤프트럭, 콘크리트 믹서·펌프트럭)와 함께, 배출가스 4등급 경유차·비도로용 2종 건설기계(지게차, 굴착기)까지 확대해 폐차 보조금을 지급한다.
아울러 매연저감장치 설치 지원 26대, 건설기계 엔진 교체 5대, LPG 화물차 신차 구입 지원 30대, 가정용 저녹스 보일러 설치 지원 3050대 등 다양한 사업을 추진한다.
최대호 안양시장은 “대기환경 개선은 더 이상 미룰 수 없는 문제”라며 “4차 산업기술을 활용한 대기질 관리, 미세먼지 계절관리제 시행 등 다양한 정책을 적극 추진해 대기환경을 개선해가겠다”고 말했다.
안양시는 사업별로 내년 2월경 공고 후 접수를 시작해 예산 소진 시까지 운영할 방침이다.
