마리아는 예수의 수난이 어떤 것인 줄
미리 알았다.
십자가에 못 박혀 죽을 거라는
극형이 다가오고 있다는 것을
사전에 알았다.
마리아는 세상지식에 충만 했고
죽음으로 가는 사람을
대접할 줄 아는 너그러운 여인이었다.
골고다 언덕으로 끌려가는 찰나
예수의 발에 향유를 뿌려 위로했나니
골고다 마리아가 아닌
나의 마리아는 어디에 있는 것일까?
나의 마리아는 어디쯤 오고 있는 것일까?
내 인생 역정에 향유를 뿌려줄
마리아를 기다리노니
죽음이라도 두려워 않는
큰 위안을 줄 마리아
손바닥 중앙에 박힐 큰 못조차
아프지 않을 사랑을 줄 여인, 마리아
마리아여, 깜깜한 나만이 가는 밤길에
등불을 들고 오소서.
마리아여, 고독에 지쳐 있는 나만의 시간에
다정한 웃음을 띠고 오소서.
마리아여, 나와 더불어 활기차게 시간을 보내게

Where is my Maria coming from?
to sprinkle balm on my life's journey
waiting for maria
she's not afraid of death
Maria will give you great comfort
Not even a big nail to be driven into the center of her palm
Maria, the woman who will give you love that won't hurt
Maria, on the dark night road where only I am going
Come with a lamp.
Maria, in my own time, tired of loneliness
Come with a friendly smile.
