브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 국민연금공단은 4일부터 시각장애인들도 국민연금 정보를 쉽게 읽고 확인할 수 있도록 공단 홈페이지에서 전자점자 서비스를 제공한다고 밝혔다.
전자점자 서비스는 홈페이지에 게시된 각종 정보와 소식을 점자 파일로 변환해 제공하는 서비스다. 새 소식, 보도자료, 알기 쉬운 국민연금 등 17개 콘텐츠를 이용할 수 있으며, 계속 추가할 예정이다.
이용 방법은 콘텐츠 화면 오른쪽 위에 있는 ‘점자 보기’를 누르면 화면 속 글자가 점자로 바뀐다. 이용자는 △음성 출력 △점자정보단말기 △점자프린터 중 원하는 방식으로 이용하면 된다.
김태현 이사장은 “이번 서비스 도입으로 시각장애인의 정보접근성을 높이고 권익을 더욱 두텁게 보호할 수 있게 되었다”며 “앞으로도 모든 국민이 국민연금 정보와 서비스를 쉽고 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
